Abstract
BK virus (BKV) is increasingly being recognized as an important pathogen am ong renal transplant recipients. To date, only limited information is known about BKV infections in this population; definitive data regarding the epi demiology, diagnosis, treatment, and outcome of BKV infection are lacking. Therefore. further investigations are needed. This article reviews our curr ent understanding of BKV infections among renal transplant patients.
