Abstract
Use of mass spectrometry to detect PCR amplified DNA from individuals infected with hepatitis B virus, to derive DNA sequence information th rough exonuclease based degradation or Sanger sequencing and a new for mat (PROBE) for the efficient determination of mutations is described.
