A source capable of producing dense plasma clusters moving with high veloci
ty is investigated. Parameters of the source could be acceptable for many f
usion or confinement plasma experiments as a fuel or plasma source. The sou
rce generates a cluster of plasma density exceeding 10(22) m(-3) with a tot
al number of released particles in the range 10(17)-10(21), the efficiency
of ionization reaches 90% and the flow velocity of the plasma is greater th
an or equal to 10 km s(-1).
