Abstract
The electrical properties, and especially the weldability of steel strip co ated with conductive polymer coatings, is the reason for the increasing int erest in industrial applications of these materials. Coatings containing co nductive fillers (inorganic particles) and coatings with intrinsically cond uctive polymer compounds (ICP) as additives were examined, Evaluation of co rrosion properties was carried out, using test methods such as accelerated corrosion in a climate chamber, visual control of the corroded materials, t ogether with conventional electrochemical measurements, electrochemical imp edance spectroscopy and surface analysis using SEM/EDS and XRD techniques.
