Abstract
The title compound, poly[[cobalt(II)-mu-(hexaoxodivanadium-O:O')]-mu -bipyr idine-N:N'], [CoV2O6(C10H8N2)], has been prepared hydrothermally and charac terized by elemental analyses, IR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray dif fraction. The structure consists of bimetallic oxide layers, [Co2V4O12], li nked through 4,4'-bipyridine ligands into a three-dimensional network.
