Abstract
The authors provide a substantial correction for calculating estimates of l ead concentration arid uncertainty for in vivo X-ray fluorescent bone analy sis with Cd-109 source. Based on general principles, they provide mathemati cal techniques for propagation of uncertainties in XRF analysis. They give additional considerations for lowering the detection limit and improving sp ectral data quality. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
