Abstract
In 1982 and 1993, we carried out highly accurate photoelectric WBVR measure ments for the close binary IT Cas. Based on these measurements and on the o bservations of other authors, we determined the apsidal motion [(omega) ove r dot (obs) = (11.degrees0 +/- 2.degrees5)/100 years]. This value is in apr eenicilt with the theoretically calculated apsidal motion for these stars [ (omega) over dot (th) = (14 degrees +/- 3 degrees)/100 years]. (C) 2001 MAI K "Nauka/Interperiodica".
