Abstract
yA cobalt(II) complex with bis[2-(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)ethyl][(pyrazol- 1-yl)methyl]amine (bppa), [CoCl(bppa)][B(C6H5)(4)].C2H5OH, was synthesized and characterized by measurements of the magnetic moment and the electronic spectra. The X-ray crystal structure shows that the compound has a distort ed trigonal bipyramid with a N4Cl coordination environment.
