Abstract
A new species of Arthrosaura is described from Mount Ayanganna, Pakaraima M ountains, Guyana. It differs from all other Arthrosaura by having four supr aoculars, broad gulars, femoral and anal pores each within a single scale, and no abrupt demarcation between the lateral scales and the dorsal or vent ral scales. The new species is morphologically closest to A. kockii and A. testigensis.
