Abstract
The actin and microtubule cytoskeletons play key roles in cell polarity, sp indle orientation and nuclear movement. Recent work in fungal systems has i dentified potential 'functional links' between these cytoskeletal systems. This review discusses molecular mechanisms through which these links may be established.
