Abstract
An important requirement for tracking filters is the ability to maintain tr acking under dense environments. The JPDA (Joint Probabilistic Data Associa tion) using the positional measurements is conceivable. However, if the num ber of observation data to be processed simultaneously is increased, incorr ect correlation takes place and the tracking performance deteriorates. In t his paper, in order to improve the problem of incorrect correlation in the JPDA, the JPDA using the range rate measurement is proposed. Through severa l simulations, the validity of this method has been confirmed with respect to tracking success rates and tracking accuracies. (C) 2001 Scripta Technic a.
