Abstract
Fast-atom bombardment (FAB) spectra, FAB mass-analyzed ion kinetic energy ( FAB MIKE) spectra and FAB MIKE spectra with collision-activated dissociatio n (FAB CAD-MIKE) were obtained for some unsaturated anomeric C-aryl glycosi des. Although the FAB MIKE and FAB CAD-MIKE spectra of the [M + H](+) ion s howed no differences, differentiation of the regioisomers and anomers was p ossible by analyzing the MIKE and CAD-MIKE spectra of the [M + Li](+) or [M + Na](+) ions.
