The high-energy gamma -rays from the GDR decay of Eu-147*, produced in the
reaction Cl-37+Pd-110 at bombarding energy of 160 and 170 MeV, were measure
d in coincidence with discrete transitions in residual nuclei and analyzed
with statistical model using a Monte Carlo approach. It is found that the p
resent analysis gives information on the moment of inertia at very high spi
ns in different residual nuclei.
