Abstract
In this essay, CBI's former and current archivists reflect on the history a nd evolution of the CBI archives. Bruce H. Bruemmer, CBI's first profession al archivist, served in that capacity from 1984 to 1997. Elisabeth Kaplan w as appointed CBI archivist in July 1999.
