Abstract
The control of an albino strain of Aspergillus fumigatus which assimilates hydrocorbon- and has exhibited the potential to grow in, and cause corrosio n of, the fuel tanks of supersonic aircraft is reported. The effectiveness of the biocides: E.G.M.E. (ethylene glycol monomethyl ether), Biobor-JF, st rontium chromate, and RH 886, were evaluated.
