Abstract
A series of neural networks and genetic algorithm routines have been used i n an integrated and hybrid manner to identify the candidate wells for stimu lation in a gas storage field. The intelligent system not only is capable o f identifying the candidate wells, but it also recommends whether the well should be chemically treated or hydraulically fractured. Upon the recommend ation of the type of the treatment, the intelligent system proposes a recip e for the treatment and forecasts the potential gains that can be expected once the proposed treatment is completed.
