Abstract
Doctor Global Ltd began online consulting in April 1999. It was one of the first online medical consulting services in the world. Doctor Global does n ot derive a significant portion of its income from providing or supervising online consultations via its Website, although experience with enabling th em has been important for the development of its core product, a consumer-o riented Web-based electronic medical record.
