Abstract
Adrenocortical tumors may produce glucocorticoids, mineralocorticoids, or a drenal sex hormones. When adrenal sex hormones are produced by an adrenal tumor, clinical signs of hyperadrenocorticism may result, even though cortisol concentrations are less than the reference range.
