We developed the laser system at 457 nm based on cw ring Ti:Sap laser and e
nhanced cavity SHG in LBO and KN crystals with linewidth < 30 kHz for inter
ferometry experiments with Mg atomic beam. For laser cooling and deflection
of Mg beam the laser system at 285 mn based on ring R6G cw dye laser and S
HG in BBO nonlinear crystal has been realized. The results of Mg interferom
etry experiments in four-beam Borde geometry are presented as well as the r
esults of Zeeman cooling experiments in transverse magnetic field. The zero
order interference fringes correspondent to the recoil doublet were detect
ed with the resolution of similar to 30 kHz. The Mg beam with the flux of s
imilar to 10(11) atoms/s, the mean velocity of similar to 200 m/s and the w
idth of velocity distribution of similar to 50 m/s (FWHM) was produced.
