Abstract
Pseudotulostoma volvata gen. sp. nov. is described from the south-central P akaraima Mountains of Guyana, Pqeudotulostoma volvata is associated with ec tomycorrhizal Dicymbe corymbosa trees (Caesalpiniaceae) and placed in the A scomycota, Eurotiales, Elaphomycetaceae. Included are a description of the genus and species, illustrations of the macroscopic and microscopic feature s, and a discussion of the distinctive features and phylogenetic placement of this fungus.
