Abstract
Twist-drill trephination associated with continuous closed drainage was fir st proposed forty years ago for treating chronic subdural hematomas. We des cribe the original percutaneous technique and report our experience in a re trospective study of 65 consecutive patients it-Ito have been operated usin g this method.
