Abstract
Tumors arising in the vicinity of the skull base are relatively uncommon; h owever, lesions that may be successfully treated by radiotherapy and radios urgery include temporal bone chemodectomas, schwannomas, juvenile angiofibr omas, pituitary adenomas, and meningiomas. This article reviews treatment t echniques and results and discusses the pertinent literature.
