Abstract
The resistivity rho (xx), the Hall effect. and magnetization M of a single crystal of Sr2FeMoO6 (SFMO) have been Studied in a wide temperature range. The ordinary Hall effect (OHE) is negative. identifying electrons as charge current carriers, while the anomalous Hall effect (AHE) is of opposite sig n. A theoretical analysis demonstrates that the sign of AHE. whether from s kew scattering or side jump mechanisms, depends on the relative strength of magnetic and nonmagnetic disorder. the observed sign indicating dominant m agnetic disorder in SFMO. Both anomalous Hall conductivity (sigma (A)(xy)) and rho (xx) show simple scaling with M.
