Remarks on the determination of the Landau gauge OPE for the asymmetric three gluon vertex - art. no. 114003

We compute a compact operator Product expansion (OPE) formula describing po wer corrections to the perturbative expression for the asymmetric momentum substraction - (MOM) renormalized running coupling constant LIP to the lead ing, logarithm. By the use of a phenomenological hypothesis leading to the factorization of the condensates though a perturbative vacuum insertion. th e only relevant condensate in the game is (A(2)). The validity of the OPE f ormula is tested by searching for a good-quality coherent description of pr evious lattice evaluations of the MOM-renormalized gluon propagator and run ning coupling.
