This paper deals with the problem of robust H-infinity control for uncertai
n state-delayed systems containing sector non-linearity. The parameter unce
rtainties are assumed to be time varying and unknown but norm bounded. Base
d on the linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. both delay-independent an
d delay-dependent techniques for designing memoryless state feedback contro
llers are proposed to stabilize the delay system. and to reduce the effect
of the disturbance input on the controlled output to a prescribed level for
all admissible uncertainties. Numerical examples are employed to illustrat
e the results.
