Mechanical, corrosion-protective, electrical, and magnetic properties of el
ectroless Ni-B-P coatings plated with the simultaneous use of hypophosphite
and a boron-containing compound (borane or dimethylamine borane) as reduce
rs are studied in the initial state and after the heat treatment at 100-600
degreesC. The plating conditions ensuring enhanced hardness wear resistanc
e, and heat stability, as well as low resistivity of the alloys are describ
ed.
