Abstract
The renin-angiotensin system is one of the most widely studied endocrine sy stems. If has an important role in the regulation of normal homeostasis, an d disturbances in this system may be important in numerous pathological sta tes. This review will focus on the major insights and important questions r aised from gene targeting of this system.
