New ligands bearing chiral bioactive fragments

[GRAPHICS] Reliable and practical synthetic routes for the construction of hybrid mole cules bearing both a chelating center and a useful biofunction are presente d. They comprise the sequential cross coupling reaction between ethynylated synthons with iodo substituted L-tyrosine derivatives and provide access t o various rationally designed chiral ligands.
