Abstract
We prove that for Banach spaces E, F,G, H and operators T is an elemen t of L(E,G), S is an element of L(F,H) the tensor product T x S : E x( E) F --> G x(E) H is a Grothendieck operator, provided T is a Grothend ieck operator and S is compact.
