Abstract
Various studies have implied that the brain is involved in the cause Of eat ing disorders(16, 25, 28, 30, 31) while others have shown the cerebral Sequ elae.(18, 22) The recent advent of highly sophisticated neuroimaging techniques has made it possible to understand better the correlation between eating disorders a nd brain structure and functioning. This article describes the research tha t has been conducted into eating disorders using these techniques.
