Abstract
The issue of osteoporosis as a consequence of anorexia nervosa (AN) is a co mplex intersection between many different issues and disciplines. It spans psychiatry, bone mineral densitometry, radiology, developmental biology, bi ochemistry, and rheumatology and raises a range of issues from measurement to motivation and from ethics to economics.
