Abstract
Modern DIP mills have a problem with the decomposition of HP due to microbi al activity in their water systems. BIM Kemi/Cellkem invented and patented in the beginning of the 90s a new technique to destroy the catalase and pre vent HP decomposition. This technique is used in many mills having pulp ble aching with large success. Hydrogen peroxide savings are often more than 50 % with the corresponding following savings in caustic and silica.
