Abstract
A palladium-catalysed reduction of ketones to primary amines by reaction wi th ammonium formate in aqueous methanol is described. The proposed method p rovides a one-pot synthesis of 3-endo-tropanamine in high yields and stereo selectivity. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
