Abstract
Solubility experiments undertaken between 18 degreesC and 24 degreesC showe d that solubility of SO3 in either acetone or methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) is very small. On the other hand, with these solvents sulfuric acid is fully m iscible up to a volume ratio of 30:200 acid:solvent.
