Abstract
The propagation characteristics of a plasma waveguide with a finite thickne ss of cladding immersed in an external magnetic field are presented. The ef fects of the collision frequency, electron cyclotron frequency, plasma thic kness of cladding on propagation constants are investigated. Numerical inve stigations show that the attenuation of the waveguide is an oscillating fun ction of the plasma thickness of cladding and collision frequency.
