Abstract
Comparative investigations of structure-making (LiCl, AlCl3) and structure- breaking (CsCl) electrolyte solutions were conducted by Rayleigh light scat tering. It was found that there is a long-range order in structure-making e lectrolyte solutions and that the size of regions of correlation is greater than the wavelength of light. The influence of YCl3 and AlCl3 additives on LiCl and CsCl structure was also investigated. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B .V. All rights reserved.
