Abstract
The photoluminescence spectra of GaSe and Cd-doped GaSe single crystals wer e investigated at 11 K. Sharp emission peaks due to excitons and phonons we re observed in the single crystals. Broad emission peaks due to donor-accep tor pair recombinations were also observed. Emission peaks due to the dopan t Cd in the Cd-doped GaSe single crystal were observed.
