The ultrasonic velocity and attenuation measurements were carried out in mi
xed Ni-Zn ferrites at 2, 4, 5 and 10 MHz frequencies of ultrasonic sound us
ing pulse echo overlap (PEO) method at room temperature. The measured value
s were utilized to evaluate the Young's modulus (E), isotropic compressibil
ity (K-s), acoustic impedance (Z) and internal friction (Q(-1)). The variat
ion of the measured and evaluated parameters with change in frequency of ul
