Abstract
This is a review of the current state of data, methodologies and models ava ilable for the construction of an anatomically accurate, three-dimensional coronary vasculature in a dynamic model of the beating heart that; integrat es vascular morphology, blood-vessel elasticity and tissue mechanics. The m odel is discussed in relation to the Cardiome, an anatomically based integr ated model of cardiac function.
