Abstract
The influence of the thallium and oxygen content on the superconducting pro perties of T1-2201 films has been investigated. T1-2201 films were grown ex situ on single crystal (0 0 1) LaAlO3 using Tl2O sources consisting of pol ycrystalline TlxBa2CuO6 with x ranging from 1.75 to 2.04. The films were an nealed at about 300 degreesC in vacuum and in oxygen. Most films increased their critical temperature. T(c)s, after annealing in oxygen and decreased T, after annealing in vacuum. indicating that the films are underdoped. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
