Abstract
Experiments on spatiotemporal open-loop synchronization of drift wave turbu lence in a magnetized cylindrical plasma are reported. The synchronization effect is modeled by a rotating current profile with prescribed mode struct ure. Numerical simulations of an extended Hasegawa-Wakatani model show good agreement with experimental results.
