Analyitical expressions describing the fluxes of energy and momentum produc
ed by gravity waves generated by tropospheric turbulent layer are derived.
Estimations of seasonal variations of wave intensity and energy and momentu
m fluxes penetrating to the middle and upper atmosphere from tropospheric t
urbulent sources are made using meteorological data about variations of win
d caused by mesoscale turbulence. The seasonal variations are dependent on
the geographical location. Dependencies of the intensity of gravity wave hy
drodynamic sources on the mean winds in the troposphere are studied. (C) 20
