Abstract
Contrary to the conventional belief, it was shown that the Breit equation h as the eigenvalues for hound states of two oppositely charged Dirac particl es interacting through the (static) Coulomb potential. All eigenvalues redu ced to those of the Schodinger case in the non-relativistic limit. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
