Abstract
This case report describes the successful resuscitation of a 7-year-old gir l who had no previous history of cardiac disease other than one episode of syncope. She developed ventricular fibrillation for 10 min. External chest compressions, early defibrillation and orotracheal intubation were used wit h a successful outcome.
