Abstract
This letter proposes a map-matching method for automotive navigation s ystems. The proposed method utilizes the innovation of the Kalman filt er algorithm and can achieve more accurate positioning than the correl ation method which is generally used for the navigation systems. In th is letter, the performance of the proposed algorithm is verified ty so me simulations.
