Abstract
We present a general method for the formulation of incremental plasticity a t finite strains and the combination with multigrid methods. Therefore, the algorithms analyzed in [5], [6] for Prandtl-Reu beta -plasticity are trans fered to nonconvex: energy functionals. The efficiency of the multigrid sol ver is demonstrated on a large scale numerical example in three space dimen sions.
