P. Martin et al., THE APPARENT ANTIPSYCHOTIC ACTION OF THE 5-HT2A RECEPTOR ANTAGONIST M100907 IN A MOUSE MODEL OF SCHIZOPHRENIA IS COUNTERACTED BY RITANSERIN- RAPID COMMUNICATION, Journal of neural transmission, 104(4-5), 1997, pp. 561-564
The apparent antipsychotic action of the selective 5-HT2a receptor ant
agonist M100907 in MK-801-treated NMRI mice was shown to be markedly c
ounteracted by the 5-HT2a/2c receptor antagonist ritanserin. The mecha
nism of action and potential implications are discussed.
