Abstract
When pH probe was applied to study the ClO2- - S(2)OO2/3(-) nonlinear react ion system, batch pH oligooscillation and CSTR PH oscillation were obtained . The reaction mechanism consists of oxychlorine reactions, oxychlorine - s ulfur reactions and sulfur - sulfur reactions. A model resulted from valenc e change of sulfur can simulate the dynamics in both batch and CSTR, and it also can explain the PH front in reaction diffusion system.
