M. Lapkowski et al., Electrochemically induced, reversible morphology changes of regioregular oligo-3-alkylthiophene film, ADVAN MATER, 13(11), 2001, pp. 803
The solid-state electrochemical properties of sexi(3-octylthiophene), 6OT,
see Figure, which is assumed to be an excellent model system for regioregul
ar poly(alkylthiophenes), are reported. The electrochemically induced, reve
rsible appearance of hills and valleys in the film is thought to confirm th
e formation of pi dimers or pi stacks as suggested previously.
