Abstract
phenomena are rare but relatively typical clinical symptoms of multiple scl erosis which may occasionally occur as initial manifestation of the disease . Such shortlived clinical symptoms and signs are probably caused by ephapt ic impulse transmission due to myelino-axonal dissociation within the demye linated plaque. They should be recognized since they can serve as clinical indicators of the disease and can be treated efficiently with antiepileptic drugs.
